A Christmas Scene?
This vehicle is a Bedford CAL, delivered to London Transport in 1968 for use as the staff Ambulance at the massive Aldenham Bus Works.
The body is by Herbert Lomas of Wilmslow, the engine is 1595 cc petrol and the vehicle has a 3-speed gearbox.
After 20 years service and comparatively low mileage it was sold in 1988 to The British Ambulance Preservation Society.
This vehicle is on display at the new London Bus Museum at Brooklands.
