An example of the typical 'Pace of life' on Sark (no motorised vehicles except tractors used for towing).
This particular model was the 'Low-line' version of the Hanlon bodied Ford Transit.
The first few were delivered to Hampshire in 1980 on CCR ( W ) registrations (Gosport had CCR 336W) and during the period 1981-2 others followed on HPO and GNH ( X ) registrations. HPO's were automatic and GNH's were manual gear boxes.
Thanks to Derek Squires (Hamble) for the photograph and Ron Lilly for the information.
