"State of the art" Emergency Vehicle - Channel Islands style!

You may re-call this vehicle was ex-Hampshire and was taken by boat to the Channel Islands from Southampton Docks following some modifications.

The engine was removed and the cab (bonnet, wings and front doors) were cut away, but it retained the original roofline with front 'Ambulance sign'.

A storage box (I presume for towing accessories) was fitted at the front. I think the mod's were done by a company in Hedge End that we used for body repairs.
