Here is a picture of the 'Flying Squad' incubator introduced in the 1970's in order to solve the problem of the 'Bubble Incubator' coming adrift during high speed Flying Squad Ambulance journeys despite being lashed to the Ambulance stretcher.
Many of you will remember that an Ambulance stretcher cot was modified to accept a Special Care Baby Unit incubator so that it could be secured in the stretcher bay.
