1944 Operation Overloard D-Day Ambulance.

The patient treatment area of American Military Ambulance 'Sophie O' which was involved in Operation Overlord on D-Day, 6th June 1944.

Spotted at the 'Overlord Event', Denmead, Hants on May 28th 2011.

Many of these vehicles were to be seen in Hampshire before embarking to the Normandy beaches on D-Day 1944.
