Reg Ireland joined Hampshire Ambulance Service in 1966 and was stationed at Winchester. He became a Senior Driver at Winchester before being promoted to Station Officer at Eastleigh. Reg was appointed Staff Officer (Projects) at HQ in 1975, then Senior Staff Officer (Special Projects) in 1987, before retiring from the service in 1991.
