A33 By-Pass Accident.

A33, Winchester by-pass, northbound between the Iron Bridge and Hockley lights in 1975/6. Ex-Southampton City L/D, driven by Trevor Warren, which was being transferred to Basingstoke as a divisional spare, when a Spanish lorry driver decides to take everyone out! It closed the by-pass for hours but, that was nothing new as it was always being closed due to RTA's (known as RTA ally).
You will see that there is a bicycle under the ambulance, I'm sure there were no fatalities but I think Trevor was off sick for a few months,
After the vehicle was recovered form the scene, it was bought by Winchester St John for spares parts.
