Claylands Training Course 1970.

Here is a photo of a Claylands 6-week course believed to be from 1970.

Students from East Sussex, Berkshire, Devon, Gloucestershire and Dorset attended along with Hampshire staff.

Seated front left to right, 1st Dave Page (Portsmouth Main/Cosham), 6th Tony Kendal (Bournemouth/Dorset), 7th John Luck, 8th Pat Wheeler, 9th Les Pullinger, (Claylands Training Staff) 10th Les Squires (Fareham), 1st from right is Roy Parkhurst (Havant) 3rd from right is Alexander Crawford McPherson (Portsmouth Main).

This photograph must have been taken during the summer as Portsmouth Ambulance Service staff can be seen wearing grey summer jackets, affectionately known as 'Ice Cream Seller's Jackets'.
